Times of London - Hyde Park Mosey

 June 19, 2024

The weather was perfect.

The day was half over and it was perfect.

What would be a perfect interlude before we parted ways with Grant and Kaileen?

Why not we mosey through Hyde Park? I'll spring for ice cream.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream in perfect harmony.

At the Gate to Hyde Park, London.

London calling

London calling - Bring the kids

Prince Albert

Sauntered we did, across firm gravel paths among the flowering June specimens, squirrel chasing dogs and London locals and outlanders like us.

We said our good-byes to Grant and Kaileen at The Gore, then returned to explore the Princess Diana Fountain (not functioning), the Serpentine Water and the general joys of sunshine in a large urban park.

Let us talk of cabbages and kings and tomorrow's London and all the things...

And so it was decided that we would head down to Victoria Station in the morning to see those iconic London scenes and to speak of the Thames, the Tube, the Tower and Trafalgar.

May it be so!
