Tales of Time and Travel v.5.1: Pig Party!

Time for a Good Time.

Sunday evening, with the Clark Honors College ceremony having just wound down, it was back to Inga's apartment to consolidate and go forth to the Pig Party!

A collaboration between Inga's roommate, Alex, her parents and Dan's mother and stepfather (Dan is from the inner circle of friends) arranged to have a pig roast amongst the Filbert nut orchard in the countryside south of Eugene.  The Fus family (Alex's parents) brought some of their fine vintage from their Three Angels Winery www.threeangelswinery.com, a pig roasting box that is stuffed with coals and of course the pig - our guest pig this evening was 'Napoleon'.

Inga, an unrepentant carnivore (an unusual bent among the vegan-dominated University scene), was especially looking forward to the event.  Inga is one who wears a shirt that proclaims:

MEAT IS MURDER!
Tasty, Tasty, Murder

All enjoyed their fill of pork, amazing sides, vino and beer, while surrounded by a bounty of garden flowers.  And once, the Oregon evening began to chill, the party was moved into a finished-out barn space, ideal for indoor entertaining.
