Christmas Eve Dazzler - A Festival of Lights

Tulalip Christmas Lights around the Casino Lake

Tulalip Lights - Free Christmas Light Extravaganza

The rain had ceased just around sundown on Christmas Eve, we made hasty plans to put on our winter outdoor gear and go 12 miles down the highway to the Tulalip Tribe's Casino in Marysville to witness the colored lights wrapped around the thousands of tree branches on the casino grounds. It's a free light show that dazzles and draws throngs and throngs of people to wander about the grounds, some in their family matching Christmas pajamas, other in their sensible parkas and rain gear. It is claimed that there are 7.5 million lights. I guess I can believe them, I lost count after 3.1 million.

Looking positively 'Wicked' under the lights Elphaba.
Note the Killer Whale of The West defying gravity in the background.

Mark under cool blue lights

It was a spectacular stroll about the Tulalip Casino grounds. Many people and many languages being spoken as we wandered.
