Sue and I were delighted to accept the invitation of my nephew, Brian to join him, his wife Amy and their two young daughters at their home in Tumwater for A Christmas Dinner. We were joined by my sister Sheri and and my father, both of whom are locals to Brian and Amy's neighborhood.
It was a hearty dinner of grilled pork ribs, Amy's super tasty salad with additional sides aplenty. Sue packed Texas pecans in her luggage and whipped up a special pecan pie as a dessert offering.
We had the chance to visit with family on Christmas, which is always valued, and great niece, Ellie, invited us to stay and watch an episode of Bluey from her Christmas CD. I enjoyed the meal, the company and the entertainment with Bluey. We said our goodbyes and traveled north 100 miles in the rain to get ready to pick up Inga at the Amtrak station in Stanwood the following day. It was all a very busy and delightful Christmas Season.
